Epstein Supported Regime Change War in Syria: Report

Recently circulated documents and emails attributed to Jeffrey Eps-tein show exchanges dating back to 2013 discussing developments in Syria and efforts to support the overthrow of the Syrian government. The materials describe Eps-tein as having communicated with political and business figures about the conflict and regional power dynamics.

In one set of emails, former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak and Eps-tein discussed the potential removal of President Bashar al-Assad and the possibility of Russia withdrawing its support for the Syrian government. In the correspondence, Barak reportedly wrote that Syria could become “a new Lebanon at best or Somalia at worst” following Assad’s fall.

Other emails attributed to Eps-tein reference claims about US support for ISIS in Syria and Turkish backing of the al-Nusra Front, later known as Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), led by former Al Qaeeda leader, Abu Mohammad al-Jolani, who was later known as Ahmed al-Sharaa. Separate exchanges reportedly show Eps-tein and Palantir co-founder Peter Thiel discussing instability in Syria, Iraq, Iran, Libya, Palestine, Lebanon, and Egypt.
