California Inmate Donates his $17.74 Salary to Gaza from Prison Labor
An inmate from California has donated the salary he accumulated from his hours as a janitor in jail to support relief efforts in Gaza.
The prisoner who goes by the chosen Muslim name “Hamza,” earned $17.74 after working for 136 hours as a porter and janitor in prison.
His hourly wage amounted to 13 cents, according to reports.
