Yemen Leader Urges Muslims to Be Vigilant, Warns of ‘Inevitable’ War

Yem-en’s Ansar-ullah leader has said the country is preparing around the clock for what he described as an inevitable next round of war with the United States and Israel, vowing that Yem-eni resis-tance will not be stopped or disarmed. Sayyid Abdulmalik Badr al Din al Hou-thi made the remarks in a televised speech on Friday, saying preparations were ongoing day and night because the movement was fully aware of what its enemies were planning. His comments came a day after Israeli minister of military affairs Israel Katz vowed to continue military assaults against several countries, including Yem-en, following Yem-en’s operations in support of Pales-tine.

Al Hou-thi warned that silence in the face of American and Israeli colonial projects would only embolden further aggression across the Muslim and Arab world. He said the United States had failed to stop Yem-en’s operations despite deploying aircraft and conducting air and naval bombardments, adding that missile, drone, and naval actions in support of the Pales-tinian people had continued. He also cautioned against what he described as United States and Israeli schemes to reshape the region, urging Arab and Muslim countries to confront these plans rather than remain passive. Referring to talk of a so called Greater Israel, he said accepting such a project would mean subjugating the region to what he called a criminal enemy and would be disastrous for the nation.

The Ansar-ullah leader said Western backed crimes by Israel and the United States in Pales-tine, Lebanon, and Syria were being normalized through regional allies, creating a situation in which kil-ling and violations risked becoming acceptable. He rejected calls to disarm resistance movements, arguing that such demands were meant to leave the region defenseless and deepen humiliation and exploitation. Al Hou-thi said Yemeni operations against the United States continued until a ceasefire was announced and insisted they could resume if necessary. Yem-en halted its actions against Israel after a ceasefire took effect on 10 October, while warning it was ready to restart military support for Pales-tinians if the truce collapsed.
