US Congressman Names Emirati Businessman as Sender of ‘Torture Video’ to Convicted Pedophile Epstein
Republican US Representative Thomas Massie said on 10 February that prominent Emirati businessman Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem was identified as the sender of a video referenced in emails received by Jeff-rey Eps-tein, following the unredaction of documents by the US Department of Justice. Massie said members of Congress were granted access to previously unredacted portions of Eps-tein-related files, including FBI records and email correspondence, after he pressed the DOJ for disclosure. In a series of public statements, Massie said the DOJ unredacted an FBI file labeling two individuals as co-conspirators, another document listing several men who could be implicated, and information that, according to him, confirmed bin Sulayem as the sender of the email in question. The email exchange includes a message from Eps-tein stating, “Where are you? Are you ok, I loved the torture video,” followed by a reply saying the sender was in China and would be in the United States in the second week of May. Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche said bin Sulayem’s name appeared unredacted in a specific DOJ file referenced during the disclosures. The released files also show multiple instances of correspondence between Eps-tein and bin Sulayem over several years, including messages of a sexual nature, and photographs of the two together have circulated publicly. Bin Sulayem is the CEO of DP World, a multinational logistics and port operations company based in the United Arab Emirates. The DOJ document releases are part of a broader disclosure of Eps-tein-related records detailing his communications and relationships with numerous high-profile figures.
